Description
The expansion module is designed to work with micro:bit. There are DC motor controllers on the board, which enable simultaneous control of 4 brushed motors or 2 stepper motors. In addition, the user has at his disposal 8 connectors with PWM signals for connecting modeling servos. The module communicates via the I2C interface. LEDs have been added to each motor control output to indicate the direction of rotation, making prototyping much easier. The board is powered by an external power supply via a screw connection or DC 5.5x2.1 mm input, and the power supply is switched on by a switch. The module will work in the construction of mobile robots, both with wheel drive, as well as walking robots and manipulators. Full documentation is available on the product wiki page.
