Description

Atlas-SoC Kit is a development board based on the Altera Cyclone® V SE 5CSEMA4U23C6N system. It contains a programmable FPGA chip, which has 40,000 logic elements and a processor based on ARM Cortex-A9 architecture with a working frequency of 925 MHz. The board thanks to many components, such as multiple LED diodes, monostable buttons, slide switches, USB-Blaster, accelerometer, connector with digital inputs and outputs, is an ideal tool for learning FPGA programming. The plate can also be used for prototyping projects related to this subject.

The kit in this version has a connector compatible with Arduino, which allows you to connect various shields and expand this board.

Atlas-SoC Kit contains all the elements needed to use the board in combination with a computer running the Microsoft Windows XP or newer operating system.

The board is dedicated to work with the ARM processor, in particular for people who want to focus on developing software for embedded systems (including Linux). Hardware is identical to the DE0-Nano-SoC Kit (P0286). Both Kity differ in the supplied package of source projects (image recorded on the microSD card) and documentation (Quick Start Guide), prepared for the different way of using the set.
