Description

Arduino MKR GSM is a development board with a SAMD21 microcontroller (ARM Cortex® M0+). There are 8 digital inputs/outputs, 12 for generating PWM signals, 7 as analog inputs, USART interface, SPI, I2C, and micro USB socket, power socket and reset button. The board is equipped with the ATSAMD21 module and SARA-U201 U-blox enabling the implementation of communication in GSM networks.

Warning!
During data transmission, the peak current required by the board exceeds 500 mA. For the module to work properly, a LiPo battery with a minimum capacity of 1500 mAh must be connected.

The SAMD21 microcontroller is equipped with a USB hardware interface. This allows you to easily create applications that emulate a keyboard or mouse, in addition, it is possible to work the USB interface in CDC mode, thanks to which the Arduino MKR GSM is visible in the computer as a virtual COM port.

Warning!
Unlike most Arduino boards, the MKR GSM 1400 runs at 3.3V. The maximum voltage that the I/O pins can tolerate is 3.3V. Applying voltages higher than 3.3V to any I/O pin could damage the board.
