Xmega eXploreE5 with ATXmega32E5
Description
Xmega eXploreE5 is a minimodule with an ATXmega32E5 microcontroller, which enables the introduction of the AVR Xmega family of microcontrollers into the world. E series microcontrollers are the most energy-efficient from the whole AVR XMEGA family.
They have, among others:
The module has a programming SPI connector and a PDI connector for programming and debugging the microcontroller. Ideally suits the contact / prototype board. It has a built-in quartz resonator, but it is possible to mount a ceramic resonator or pin connector for a quartz resonator. The built-in USB connector can be used for power supply. At the moment, there is no official software available, which would allow, for example, programming using USB. The module is also equipped with short-circuit protection.
AVR Xmega microcontrollers tolerate signals at +3.3 V. Connecting +5 V signals will damage the microcontroller.
