This book is the first of four volumes of Alain Charoy's work devoted to interference in electronic devices. The publication has the features of both a guide and a textbook. It is written in simple language. The author avoids considerations that are too theoretical or abstract. Whenever possible, he uses colloquial language without resorting to difficult concepts in the field of physics. He wants his book to be easy, and the rules and installation advice given are certain, clear and practical. In volume I discusses:
- main sources of interference
- basic methods of analysis of electromagnetic compatibility problems
- interfaces between interference sources and disturbed circuits
- effects of disturbance on electronic circuits

Both volume 1 and volume 2 (grounding, ground, wiring), volume 3 (screens, filters, cables and shielded cables) and volume 4 (power supply, lightning protection, countermeasures) are addressed to technical staff involved in installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance and maintenance of electronic devices and systems, also for students and students of technical high schools. The Scientific and Technical Publishers express hopes that by making this publication available to the Polish Reader, they will help him solve more than one problem regarding electromagnetic compatibility.
