About the book
The book aims to familiarize the reader with the basic issues regarding the construction, operation and implementation of the program by a microprocessor. The designed hirudina is basically for students of electrical and electronics departments, however, due to the elementary presentation of the material, it can also be useful in secondary schools teaching the basics of microprocessor technology. Using the book is facilitated by defining basic concepts. The terms used are listed in the index with the page numbers on which they are used.
The material contained in the book can be divided into three parts. The first chapter contains an overview of the basic concepts, to which the typical structure of the microprocessor and microcomputer were used. The second part is chapters 2, 3 and 4, in which the Z80 microprocessor, its command list and the Z80180 micro-controller are discussed in turn. The remaining chapters are devoted to the MCS 51 family microcontrollers. In chapter 5, the Intel 8051 microcontroller is described, followed by a list of commands it carries out. Chapter 7 describes the AT89S8252 chipset and the last SAB 80C517 chip.
