About the book

The script is the first textbook on the domestic market, corresponding to the new study programs, which presents the issues regarding the measurement of basic antenna parameters. The first part of the script - theoretical - is devoted to the definitions of parameters and characteristics of antennas, and to familiarize with the methods of measuring the basic parameters of antennas. Methods of measurements in the far and near zone, both in time and frequency domain, have been described. The script also presents exemplary exercises along with a description of the measurement positions. The material and exercise concept contains extensive possibilities for testing various types of antennas, measurements of various parameters and individualization of tasks, both at the basic and advanced level.
