The system allows control of any peripheral devices using the parallel port of any PC. The project consists of two parts: an executive module attached to the printer port and software (two programs).
The executive module is a small board that provides control over four devices. The adopted solution allows further expansion - you can easily attach another module by increasing the number of controlled devices to eight !!! As actuators in the system, triacs or relays can be used. First, they are perfect for controlling bulbs. The relays work only at low switching frequencies, but are suitable for switching large currents. They are perfect as controllers for motors, pumps or electric valves - wherever there is inductance.

The device is especially recommended for anyone who wants to use a PC computer to control external devices, eg a system of window blinds
