Description

X-NUCLEO-IOD02A1 is an expansion module for STM32 Nucleo based on a two-channel SIO transceiver and IO-Link PHY L6364Q with built-in voltage stabilizers 50 mA 3.3 V and 5 V and a DC-DC converter.

The expansion board provides an inexpensive and easy-to-use solution for SIO and IO-Link industrial sensor application development. X-NUCLEO-IOD02A1 communicates with the STM32 microcontroller through the SPI and GPIO pins and is compatible with Arduino UNO R3 and ST morpho connectors (not mounted). It can work with the NUCLEO-L073RZ or NUCLEO-G071RB kits.

Communication via IO-Link can take place in multi-byte and single-byte mode or in transparent mode. On-board switches allow configuration of the L6364Q and expansion card settings such as transmission mode and DC-DC converter on/off according to application requirements.
