The adjustable workshop power supply - apart from the soldering iron, multimeter, oscilloscope and generator - the basic equipment of the electronics workshop. Even a beginner electronics must be equipped with at least a power supply, a soldering iron and a multimeter. That is why many of them construct their first power supplies themselves before they "mature" to buy a factory product. I decided to deal with the power supply design, but using modern components for this purpose. I also equipped him with features that I found necessary.
Recommendations: a full-fledged, modern, functional power supply with regulated voltage, output current and protection current, which is useful in many electronic workshops.

Basic information:

  • output voltage range 0.6 ... 24 V.
  • output voltage is set roughly, with a step of 1V and exactly with a step of 0.1 V.
  • software function for limiting the maximum output voltage - overvoltage protection.
