Cynel – Polish Manufacturer of Soldering Alloys

Cynel specializes in soldering alloys used in electronic device assembly and repair, electrical engineering and joining metal components. The range includes leaded, lead-free and low-temperature solder wires, available in various diameters and package sizes. Individual products differ in alloy composition, melting temperature, and flux type and content. Cynel materials are used for manual soldering of through-hole (THT) components, wires, connectors and electronic assemblies, as well as in selected manufacturing processes.

Cynel Solder Types – Leaded, Lead-Free and Low-Temperature

Choosing the appropriate solder depends on the components being joined, the required process temperature and the intended application of the finished connection. Three main Cynel solder groups are available at Kamami:

  • Cynel leaded solder – tin-lead alloys, primarily Sn60Pb40, often containing an SW26 flux core; designed for manual soldering and selected maintenance tasks, subject to restrictions on the use of lead
  • Cynel lead-free solder – tin-copper alloys, including Sn99.3Cu0.7 with 1.1.3 flux, designed for soldering without intentionally added lead
  • Cynel low-temperature lead-free solder – alloys containing bismuth, tin and silver, including Bi57Sn42Ag1, enabling soldering at lower temperatures than standard SnCu alloys

Different solder alloys require appropriately selected soldering parameters. Important factors include the solder melting temperature, flux type and compatibility of the soldering process with the requirements of the finished device.

Cynel Solder Wires – Diameters, Fluxes and Packaging

Cynel solder wires are available in a broad range of diameters, from thin wires for precision soldering of small pads and component leads to thicker materials intended for larger electrical connections. Products are supplied in small vials and on spools weighing 100 g, 250 g, 500 g and 1 kg, depending on the specific model. Popular options include Sn60Pb40 solder wires with SW26 flux and lead-free Sn99.3Cu0.7 wires with 1.1.3 flux. The flux core helps remove oxides and improve solder wetting. When selecting a solder, it is important to consider wire diameter, flux content, alloy composition and any requirements for cleaning residues after soldering.

Cynel Soldering Materials for Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Repairs

Cynel soldering materials are used for printed circuit board assembly, electronic equipment repair, tinning wire ends and making electrical connections. The manufacturer's range also includes specialized materials for tinning metal surfaces, including pastes used in selected automotive body repair applications. Solder selection should take into account the type of joint, permissible soldering temperature and chemical composition requirements. Applications subject to RoHS restrictions require suitable lead-free alloys, while leaded solder must be handled in accordance with applicable regulations and safe working practices.
