This add-on board enables a Raspberry Pi B+, Pi A+, Pi 2 or Pi 3 to drive a pair of brushed DC motors. Its dual MC33926 motor drivers operate from 5 V to 28 V and can deliver a continuous 3 A (5 A peak) per motor. The default pin mappings make it easy to get started using our provided software, but the board also exposes most of the driver chips’ I/O pins for more specialized applications. 

This compact, inexpensive plastic gearmotor (high-power brushed DC motor with a 120:1 reduction gearbox) is well suited for use in small robots. While intended for operation at 4.5 V, it should run comfortably in the 3 V to 6 V range.

These lightweight aluminum brackets make it easy to mount and integrate the Sharp GP2Y0A02, GP2Y0A21, and GP2Y0A41 Distance Sensors into your project. The brackets are strong enough to hold their position, but they can also be bent by hand to different angles if the application calls for it.

These extended aluminum gearmotor brackets let you securely mount our larger Pololu plastic gearmotors (228:1 offset, 120:1 offset, 200:1 90-degree, and 120:1 90-degree) to your project. The extended “neck” on these brackets allows for a large variety of mounting options. These brackets are sold in pairs, and each bracket comes with two 1″ long #2-56 screws for securing motors to the bracket.

This tiny, cylindrical gearmotor consists of a coreless brushed DC motor and a 26:1 plastic planetary gearbox. The entire assembly has a diameter of just 6 mm (0.24″) and an extremely light weight of 1.2 g (0.042 oz), making it a great actuator for miniature robots and very small mechanisms.

10:1 Micro Metal Gearmotor MP 6V with Extended Motor Shaft

This breadboard-compatible module is an alternative to bulky power switches. It uses a small integrated slide switch to control a high-side power MOSFET that can deliver continuous currents up to around 16 A at 4.5 V to 40 V.
