115:1 Metal Gearmotor 15.5Dx30L mm

This metal gearmotor is a compact (1.16" x 0.61" x 0.61") brushed DC motor with an enclosed 115:1 metal gearbox. These units have a 0.365"-long, 3 mm-diameter D-shaped output shaft.

Key specs at 6 V: 140 RPM and 60 mA free-run, 35 oz-in (2.5 kg-cm) and 0.8 A stall.

Gearmotor Dimensions:

This brushed DC gearmotor has a long (0.365" or 9.27 mm), 3 mm-diameter D-shaped metal output shaft that matches our assortment of Pololu wheels and the Solarbotics RW2 rubber wheel. Alternatively, our 3mm universal mounting hub can be used to mount custom wheels and mechanisms to the gearmotor’s output shaft.

The face plate has two mounting holes threaded for M2 screws. We do not currently offer any brackets that work with this motor.

These motors are intended for use at 6 V. In general, these kinds of motors can run at voltages above and below this nominal voltage, so they should comfortably operate in the 3 – 9 V range. Lower voltages might not be practical, and higher voltages could start negatively affecting the life of the motor.
