Tamiya Connector Pack, Male

This style of high-current connector is commonly used with the 7.2V sub-C battery packs that power many RC cars. The connector is keyed so that power cannot be reversed, and a latch secures the connection so that it will not become disconnected. You can use a crimping tool to attach these connectors to your own 14- to 20-AWG wires. This pack contains enough housings and crimp pins (including two spare pins) for 3 male connectors.

This style of high-current connector is commonly used with the 7.2V battery packs that power many RC cars. The connector, sometimes called Tamiya or Kyosho, is keyed so that power cannot be reversed. A latch secures the connection so that it will not become disconnected.

This pack contains enough housings and crimp pins (including two spare pins) for three male connectors (we also offer a pack for the female version). The crimp pins are designed for 14- to 20-AWG wires, and we sell a crimping tool that works well with them. As an alternative, we sell a pre-crimped version of this connector with 10 cm leads.

Note: these Tamiya connectors are sometimes referred to as “female” in the RC hobby industry, so please look at the connector picture below carefully to make sure it is what you want.
