Description

The ADP2230 digital-analog oscilloscope is an advanced measurement tool that enables users to measure, visualize, generate, record and control various types of circuits. It was designed with professional engineers in mind and is based on a USB interface. It has two analog input channels (50 MHz bandwidth and 14-bit resolution), one analog output and 16 digital inputs/outputs. The device is equipped with BNC connectors and a solid aluminum housing, which ensures maximum usability with minimum space.

The ADP2230 includes a high-capacity memory buffer to store large samples and the ability to synchronize multiple devices to increase the number of available channels. Users can receive and generate digital data, test and analyze data from both processors and sensors, while powering these systems with an efficient power source. In total, the ADP2230 offers 13 functions:

  • Oscilloscope
  • Waveform generator
  • Charger
  • Voltmeter
  • Data logger
  • Logic analyzer
  • Pattern generator
  • Static I/O
  • Spectrum analyzer
  • Network Analyzer
  • Impedance analyzer
  • Curve tracking
  • Protocol analyzer

WaveForms is free software that allows you to use available analog and digital instruments. The device communicates with WaveForms via a USB connection to a computer, allowing users to capture, record, analyze and generate mixed-form signals. In addition to using in-app instruments, WaveForms has a script editing tool that enables custom JavaScript scripts. The software is designed to run on a laptop or desktop computer and is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux.

For even more customization, you can use the WaveForms Software Development Kit (SDK) to create custom applications and scripts in Python, C, and other languages. The ADP2230 is also compatible with LabVIEW and Digilent Toolbox, allowing it to work with MathWorks' MATLAB Data Acquistion Toolbox.

The ADP2230 also comes with a free 30-day trial of EveryMeasure, a new data storage and visualization platform, and a one-year subscription to Multisim Live Premium, an online circuit simulator that allows users to create, learn and share circuits and electronics online.
