Description

The MDO5004 is a 5th generation 4-channel digital oscilloscope, offering a frequency bandwidth of 500 MHz and a sampling speed of up to 3 GSa/s. It has a built-in memory with a depth of 360 Mpts. It is equipped with a 14-inch touch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, which ensures the display of clear signal waveforms. It has a very thin (3.58 cm thick) design and supports VESA mounting, which significantly saves space on the desk.

The oscilloscope uses a dedicated SigTestUI™ operating system, developed over 10 years of experience in user interface design. This makes it incredibly easy to use, even for novice engineers who can learn to use it in just 5 minutes. Thanks to the original Mic-OPI™ probe interface, the oscilloscope automatically identifies the attenuation of the passive probe, enabling simultaneous calibration. It is standardly equipped with a BNC adapter and also has USB 3.0 Host, USB Type-C, LAN, HDMI, Trigger Out, etc. ports.

The oscilloscope's noise floor is less than 90 μVrms at full 500 MHz bandwidth, allowing engineers to precisely capture weak but important signals during everyday circuit debugging. Memory up to 360 Mpts deep ensures excellent signal fidelity, and segmented memory divides the limited space into several small segments, collecting multiple trigger events into a single memory area. This effectively allows you to record target signals repeatedly over long periods of time and play them back for further analysis.

Hardware filtering allows you to selectively pass or block signal components in a specific frequency range, which is very useful for analyzing specific signal frequency bands or observing changes in specific frequency components. In addition to standard passive probes, the oscilloscope supports connection to all Micsig probes: optical isolated probe, high voltage differential probes and AC/DC current probes, allowing you to maximize the performance of both the probe and the oscilloscope.
