The manual is for students of a profiled secondary school with an electronic profile, a thematic block; the use of electronic devices. a short historical outline of the development of color television is presented, the basic concepts of color television and the general principle of giving color images are discussed. The components of the video signal, basic and differential color signals as well as basic luminance signals and chrominance difference signals as well as video waveforms were also characterized. Discussed were colorful TV systems, color picture tubes, the construction of a TV set and its additional functions, digital receiver systems and high-quality television. includes a set of checking questions for the student and a proposal of practical exercises to prepare for the operation and presentation of a color TV receiver, also a bibliography is provided.
