ENERGY - ARDUINO FOR LAUNCHPAD - PRINTED PLATE

Practical Electronics no. 12/2012 describes the concept of the Energy project environment. After a dose of theory, it's time for practical solutions that will allow the use of the tile and the design environment. Let us add that in addition to the plate with the MSP430 microcontroller, the TI company has also launched the launchpad from the LM4F120 for sale, which will also fit the modules described.

Recommendations: universal modules, which are created on the model familiar to Arduino users - they will be useful to cooperate with launch pads produced by Texas Instruments.

Basic parameters:

• 3.3 V DC power supply
• derivation of all G2 processor pins on Arduino Bricks SIP3 connectors, enabling the use of Arduino compatible peripherals (operating with 3.3 V power supply)
• built-in 3.3 V power supply for peripheral and LP systems, possibility to configure power supplies
• infrared receiver, potentiometer
• driver for 2 DC or 1-step motors (DRV8833)
• two outputs with an increased load capacity type OD
• 24CL16B type FRAM memory
• 4-pin connectors compatible with Arduino for serial communication and I2C bus
• the ability to disconnect XIN / XOUT clock signals from the expansion connectors
• no assignment of peripherals to specific pins of the processor, this increases the flexibility of the system, but requires connecting appropriate leads with short sections of wires
