About the book |
The book discusses numerical codes and basic four actions in binary arithmetic. The methodology for designing logic circuits, both combinational and sequential, is presented. Typical combination logic blocks such as decoders, multiplexers, totalizers and comparators as well as sequential blocks, namely registers and counters, are presented. The typical structure of complex logic circuits, i.e. microprogrammed structure, was also discussed. The book can be helpful to students of all IT courses at technical universities. It can also be used by students of other universities and by people who want to train in computer science. Table of Contents 1. Introduction 2. Numeric coding and arithmetic 3. Digital combinational circuits 4. Sequential systems 5. Microprogrammed systems |
