About the book
The continuous, rapid development of microprocessor technology makes it impossible to program in low-level languages assigned to a specific machine, such as Assembler. The realities of the market force a significant acceleration of work at the design stages. Therefore, for several years we have been observing the dynamic development of microcontroller programming methods using high-level languages.
The book is addressed to pupils and students and all who want to get acquainted with the basics of constructing and programming C microprocessor devices using the 8051 processor.
It consists of several parts describing:
- didactic DSM-51 microprocessor system,
- 8051 processor,
- C language,
- Keil C compiler.
The book also contains examples of laboratory exercises with 8051 microcontroller programming in C.
On the CD-ROM included in the book, the Readers receive:
- files with descriptions of electronic components used in the construction of the DSM-51 device,
- programs allowing to send and run a compiled program on it,
- terminal program allowing to send and receive data via a serial link,
- examples of programs used in the exercises described in this book.
