What is it for?
The system can act as a signaling device or proximity sensor in alarm devices, automatic control systems, etc. In some cases, it can replace factory-made passive infrared detectors and active infrared tracks.
How it's working?
The principle of operation is similar to the work of a radar or sonar: the device sends infrared radiation pulses when an object close enough; the wave bounces off him and the receiver catches it. The system therefore has the advantage that it is not necessary to use a transmitter and receiver placed opposite each other, which usually requires pulling additional cables; has a compact and uniform structure.
The set includes a printed circuit board, a set of elements and documentation.

The module with the DS18B20 sensor is used to measure the temperature in the range from -55° C to + 125° C, with an accuracy of +/- 0.5° C in the range from -10° C to + 85° C. The module communicates via the 1-Wire interface, thanks to which it can be connected using 2 or 3 wires - depending on the configuration.
