IronPython Studio; Marian Mysior
The book presents a new approach to the Python language, based on the use of visual tools and libraries offered by the Visual Studio package and the Microsoft .NET Framework. The new Python application development environment, i.e. the IronPython Studio package, simplifies programming by supporting the designer with graphical tools and standard libraries known from languages such as C # and Visual Basic. This brings a completely new quality to Python.
The publication is addressed to people who want to learn the basics of the language and the principles of working in the IronPython Studio environment. The reader is not required to know Python or other programming tools.
The book contains a set of dozens of exercises - examples showing the course of creating applications in the environment of IronPython Studio. During the exercises, the reader learns the following issues:
• Programming environment
• Data entry, formatting of results
• Data types, expressions and operators
• Program control
• Data validation, emergency situations handling
• Subprograms
• GDI + graphics
• Own classes
• User Interface
• Database
• Windows application without graphical support.
