Description

Magnetically isolated 3-port USB hub using ADI magnetic coupling isolation technology. The device has a rated insulation voltage of 2500 V. The hub is a passive device, powered from the USB port. It has three output sockets. It has overcurrent protection and ESD protection. Hub works with Windows, Linux and MAC OS.

Insulation is used to protect against high voltages or currents caused by voltage spikes. It is required in applications such as industrial process control, power regulation, communication between computers and serial data transmission over various types of physical networks. Isolation protects the system from surges and reduces signal distortion, as well as increasing safety.
