Zeenko ZK04-UM is a compact low-noise RF amplifier operating in the 100 kHz – 4 GHz range, powered via USB-C, featuring high linearity and low noise levels. Ideal for amplifying antenna signals or as a preamplifier for spectrum analyzers such as the tinySA ULTRA, especially above 3.5 GHz.
The ZK04-UM is a wideband low-noise amplifier (LNA) powered via USB Type-C, part of the UM series from Zeenko. The device operates in the frequency range from 100 kHz to 4 GHz, offering moderate gain tailored to practical applications and a very low noise figure (NF). The high-PSRR LDO regulator effectively suppresses power-supply noise, resulting in better signal quality compared to standard USB-powered modules.
The module features a shielded system enclosure, a compact design, and the ability to adjust supply current by changing an external bias resistor. It is ideal as an antenna amplifier or a preamplifier for spectrum analyzers, enhancing sensitivity for devices such as the tinySA ULTRA.
