ST1S14PHR is a monolithic step-down (buck) switching regulator manufactured by STMicroelectronics. The device is designed to reduce input voltage in electronic systems and can deliver up to 3 A output current, making it suitable for powering medium-to-high current loads.
The regulator operates over a wide input voltage range of 5.5 V to 48 V and allows the output voltage to be set from approximately 1.22 V using an external resistor divider. The integrated DMOS power switch and a switching frequency of 850 kHz enable the use of compact external components while maintaining high conversion efficiency.
The device also integrates protection features such as current limiting and thermal shutdown, improving reliability in industrial power supply applications.
