Description
UT512 is a digital insulation resistance tester that provides high accuracy and a wide range of applications for diagnosing electrical devices. In addition to measuring insulation resistance up to 100 GΩ, it also enables the measurement of AC and DC voltage up to 600 V. With functions to measure dielectric absorption ratio (DAR) and polarization index (PI), it allows a comprehensive assessment of insulation condition. The device features a large, backlit LCD display for clear readability, even in difficult lighting conditions. Additionally, a 30-segment bar graph helps visualize measurements. The meter also includes a data memory function with 18 storage cells, making it easy to compare results.
With a USB interface, users can transfer data to a computer and analyze it using dedicated software. Built-in safety features, such as a low battery indicator, range overrun warning, and high voltage indicator, enhance the reliability of the device. The meter is powered by eight 1.5V LR14 batteries or an external power supply.
