Description
Prusament PLA Lipstick Red is intended for 3D printing of parts requiring good surface quality, precise detail reproduction, and a stable printing process. The filament is manufactured by Prusa Research in a controlled production process that includes continuous diameter measurement, color uniformity control, and mechanical property testing. Each spool features an individual QR code providing access to real production parameters of the specific batch.
PLA material is characterized by low shrinkage and good dimensional stability, which reduces the risk of warping even when printing larger parts on open-frame printers. The filament is suitable for prototyping, concept models, decorative elements, and visual prints. Compared to PETG, PLA offers easier printing and better fine-detail reproduction, at the cost of lower thermal and mechanical resistance.
