AVRTV - TV DISPLAY - A KIT FOR INDEPENDENT INSTALLATION

AVRTV is a video image generator controlled from a computer via the RS232 interface. The system can display 25 lines of 40 characters, which gives a high (in the case of a TV) resolution of 320x200 points. The program's memory supports 8x8 pixel fonts; Polish characters coded according to CP1250 (Windows coding).
The system was implemented in the form of a small module assembled on a single-sided printed circuit board. The characters are entered in the same way as in the ordinary RS232 terminal - the received character is displayed at the current position and the cursor moves to the right. After reaching the end of the line, it passes to the beginning of the next and if it is the last line of the screen, all content is scrolled up and a new, empty line is created.

Use the TV screen to provide information, display important messages or short advertising messages. An interesting solution for hotels, guesthouses, service outlets and more.

  • font - 256 characters including basic ASCII, special characters and Polish in coding CP1250
  • connection with a computer - RS232 interface
  • transmission speed 2400 - 57600 (fixed with jumpers)
