An M12-mount lens with a fixed focal length of 4.9mm used in vision systems based on camera modules with a 1/4" sensor format, including projects built around Raspberry Pi. With this sensor size, the lens provides a horizontal field of view of approximately 60°, allowing observation of a medium-range scene without pronounced perspective distortion.
Focus adjustment is performed manually by screwing the lens into the M12 mount, allowing the focal plane to be set according to the required working distance.
The metal housing provides mechanical stability during operation in robotics, machine vision, and monitoring systems.
