About the book

The book is a study on data security issues aimed at remote reading systems. Modern software and hardware solutions have been presented, including energy monitoring systems and methods for counteracting attacks on energy meters. The legal aspects in the scope of measurement data protection in terms of organizational and technical solutions required during the processing of measurement data were also discussed.
The monograph consists of selected (based on the opinion of the Scientific Committee), revised and extended articles presented at the 2nd KBBS Scientific and Industrial Conference (Cryptology and Business - Applied Security), which took place on March 17-18, 2015 in Zielona Góra.
