The Snap-on Translucent USB Dongle Case is a practical and economical solution for protecting projects based on small PCBs with a USB interface. Made from translucent gray plastic, it allows easy observation of LEDs, small OLED or TFT displays. It consists of three parts: two that snap onto the PCB and an additional cap for the USB Type-A port. It also features a button lever, allowing the use of a low-cost switch as a reset or mode button. Originally designed for USB-powered monitoring devices, its universal design makes it suitable for a wide range of projects, provided the connectors are small enough. It’s an excellent way to protect your USB dongle during everyday use. However, note that the case is not waterproof or dustproof. To ensure a perfect fit, the PCB should be designed according to the enclosure's specifications. This is a much more affordable alternative to 3D printing or injection molding, and it's easy to assemble.
