Description

Clear acrylic enclosure designed for the GreatFET One development board, protecting the electronics from accidental contact and damage during laboratory work. The Great Scott Gadgets enclosure consists of bottom and top acrylic panels connected using mounting screws and standoffs. Its design maintains access to the GreatFET One expansion headers, allowing additional neighbor boards to be connected without removing the entire enclosure.

The included standoffs allow expansion modules to be installed in a stacked configuration. The top panel can also protect selected neighbor modules, provided their electronic components have a sufficiently low profile. Modules with taller components may require operation without the top panel. The kit includes all hardware required to assemble the enclosure and a GreatFET One pinout reference sticker, designed for placement on a computer or workstation.

The enclosure design is available as open-source hardware documentation with OSHWA certification number US000173. The manufacturer provides enclosure design files on GitHub and illustrated assembly instructions. The enclosure can be assembled by the user, while the available documentation facilitates dimensional analysis and the development of custom modifications. The GreatFET One board is not included.
