Description

Espressif Thread Border Router is an innovative development board that combines the power of Espressif SoCs, supporting both Wi-Fi and 802.15.4 technologies. Based on the ESP-IDF framework and the open-source OpenThread stack, it has been certified as a Thread 1.3 Certified Component by the Thread Group. This certification ensures compliance with the latest Thread 1.3 standard and support for applications based on the Matter protocol, making it an ideal solution for growing IoT ecosystems.

The Wi-Fi ESP Thread Router comprises two advanced SoCs: a Wi-Fi Host SoC, such as those from the ESP32, ESP32-S, or ESP32-C series, and a Radio Co-Processor (RCP) based on the ESP32-H series.
