Description
Starter kit for learning electronics and programming. It consists of an expander with Raspberry Pi Pico and JST PH2.0 connectors and an ESP32-S3-Pico-M board. The user has 15 expansion modules on which to find the most commonly used sensors and electronic components, such as display, buttons, buzzer temperature and humidity sensors, microphone, gas sensor, IMU, potentiometer, motor controller and IR receiver and transmitter.
The ESP32-S3-Pico-M board is a module with a dual-core Xtensa 32-bit LX7 processor clocked at 240 MHz, integrated RAM, ROM, Flash and PSRAM, and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE 5. The module is equipped with a ceramic antenna and an MP28164 3.3 V 2 A DC-DC converter for optimised power supply and low power consumption. The board also has 27 GPIO pins, including ADC, UART, SPI, I2C, PWM, and its pin spacing is compatible with Raspberry Pi Pico HAT modules. It provides a Full-Speed USB OTG interface, LCD interface (8-bit serial RGB/8080/6800), DVP camera interface (8-bit - 16-bit).
The kit is designed for beginners who want to learn the basics of programming. It has the form of one large board on which the individual modules are placed. This form factor keeps things tidy and allows the kit to be used without the need to solder components or use an additional contact board. Should the user wish to use the modules for another project, he or she can easily break out one of the boards and connect it using the supplied wires.
