Description
DE25-Standard Development and Education Kit is a modern next-generation development platform designed for learning and creating projects in the fields of digital logic, embedded systems, computer vision, AI, and robotics. It is based on the high-performance Altera Agilex 5 SoC FPGA featuring 138K logic elements, offering up to 2.5× higher performance compared to previous solutions. With a rich set of interfaces and expansion options, the kit is ideal for both academic environments and professional development applications.
The kit integrates 1 GB of DDR4 memory and 64 MB of SDRAM, enabling the implementation of demanding data-processing and multimedia projects. It is equipped with advanced video processing interfaces, including a 1080p HDMI output, MIPI CSI/DSI connector, and a composite video input, making it suitable for AI-based vision systems and intelligent monitoring applications. The built-in AI Tensor Block enables the development of modern artificial intelligence applications. DE25-Standard provides a wide range of input/output components, such as 10 LEDs, 10 switches, 4 buttons, and 6 seven-segment displays, making it an excellent tool for laboratory exercises and rapid prototyping. The board also includes a microSD slot, Ethernet port, USB host ports, a 128×64 LCD, and an accelerometer, significantly expanding project capabilities.
A major advantage of the kit is the included free Altera Quartus® Pro Edition license, which allows full compilation and design without the need to purchase additional licenses. The built-in USB-Blaster III provides convenient FPGA programming, while QSPI Flash support enables fast system configuration. The kit is designed for both education and professional prototyping, offering high flexibility, rich hardware resources, and wide software support.
