Description
"Cyclone® IV GX Transceiver Starter Kit" is a cheap platform for the development of FPGA based I / O transceivers. This set allows for:
- Development of FPGA projects in applications where low production cost is important
- Measurement of low power consumption by FPGA
- Testing the quality of FPGA transceiver pins (up to 2.5 Gbps)
- Development and testing of projects based on PCI Express® (PCIe®) 1.0 endpoint x1 (~ 250 MB / s)
Important Note : Altera has stopped placing software (CDs and DVDs) in sets. All programs can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website .
