LetsTrust TPM cryptographic module featuring the Infineon OPTIGA SLB 9672 chip, compliant with the TPM 2.0 Rev. 01.59 specification. Supports secure cryptographic key storage, authentication, digital signatures, and hardware-based true random number generation (TRNG). Communicates via the SPI interface and is compatible with Raspberry Pi single-board computers, including Raspberry Pi 5. Occupies 10 pins of the GPIO header, leaving the remaining pins available for other applications. LetsTrust TPM.
TPM 2.0 cryptographic module featuring the Infineon OPTIGA SLB 9672 chip, designed for use with Raspberry Pi single-board computers. LetsTrust TPM enables secure cryptographic key storage, authentication and digital signature operations, and cryptographic key management. The integrated true hardware random number generator (TRNG) provides random data for cryptographic applications. The module is suitable for systems requiring hardware-based key protection, device identity verification, and secure communication.
The Infineon OPTIGA SLB 9672 chip complies with the TPM 2.0 Rev. 01.59 specification and runs firmware version 15.24 or later. Communication with Raspberry Pi is handled through the SPI interface. The module is compatible with Raspberry Pi 1, 2, 3, 3B+, 4, 5, Zero, and 400 models, with Raspberry Pi 400 requiring an adapter cable. When used with Raspberry Pi 5 equipped with a standard cooling solution, an additional GPIO stacking header may be required.
The compact design uses a 2x5-pin connector, occupying physical pins 17 to 26 on the Raspberry Pi 40-pin header. The remaining GPIO header pins are available for connecting additional modules and devices. LetsTrust TPM can be installed directly onto the GPIO header or optionally soldered to its pins. Its small size facilitates installation in standard Raspberry Pi enclosures.
The module supports Raspberry Pi OS (formerly Raspbian) with Linux kernel version 4.14.85 or later, using Device Tree Overlay configuration. The manufacturer also specifies support for Windows 10 IoT Core on Raspberry Pi 2, 3, and 3B+. Tools such as TPM2 Software and Infineon Embedded Linux TPM Toolbox 2 can be used for configuration, diagnostics, and TPM functionality management. The module is designed and manufactured in Germany.
