Decsription

Hak5 Shark Jack Display cybersecurity tester is designed for authorized security audits, infrastructure reconnaissance, and diagnostics of wired Ethernet networks. The integrated Linux system with root access provides command-line tools and supports Bash and DuckyScript payloads. The OLED display allows interactive payloads to be controlled and their results viewed directly on the device, reducing the need for an additional computer during field work.

The device features a backlit Fast Ethernet RJ45 plug, a USB-C charging port, a serviceable 110 mAh LiPo battery, and a spring-loaded rocker switch for menu navigation. The integrated clip and RJ45 cover protect the connector during transport and provide a convenient keychain attachment point.

Cloud C² enables remote device management through a web browser using the Hak5 Cloud C² platform. The integration provides access to Shark Jack Display and its shell during authorized security audits, diagnostics, and network infrastructure administration.

Linux Core provides a Linux environment with root access and a set of command-line tools. The system environment supports tasks related to network diagnostics, reconnaissance, and automation of administrative operations.

Built-in Payloads include more than a dozen ready-to-use payloads that can be launched directly from Shark Jack Display. The device also supports on-device payload updates without a computer, while the OLED display provides direct feedback during payload execution.

DuckyScript™ works with Bash and supports interactive components, allowing custom payloads to be created for automating repeatable network tasks. Combining DuckyScript with the Linux environment provides access to both scripted commands and tools available within the device's operating system.

Shark Jack Display components:

1. 1.2" OLED display - features a resolution of 128 x 64 px and a pixel density of 119 PPI, providing direct access to menus, running payloads, and their feedback. The display offers high contrast and a wide viewing angle.

2. RGB LED RJ45 - the backlit Fast Ethernet RJ45 plug uses an RGB LED to indicate the operating mode and charging status.

3. USB-C port - allows the device to be charged from a USB power source, including compatible smartphones. The charging system incorporates a BMS and LED indicator.

4. Serviceable LiPo battery - has a capacity of 110 mAh and uses a JST connector. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of more than 30 minutes.

5. Spring-loaded rocker switch - combines rocker navigation with a button function, allowing one-finger control of the device menus and functions.

6. Integrated clip - also functions as an anti-snag cover protecting the RJ45 plug during transport and provides an attachment point for a keychain.

SharkLink™ enables connectivity verification between network ports using two Shark Jack Display devices. During authorized infrastructure testing, the function can be used to validate VLAN segmentation, firewall rules, ACLs, and end-to-end network visibility between selected network points.

Getting Started Crash Course provides training materials covering Shark Jack Display setup and operation. The manufacturer's training package includes more than one hour of video content, over 100 pages of documentation, and 30 test questions across 8 modules. The course covers device setup, operating modes, interface operation, payload execution, profiles, SSH access, and creating a first custom payload.
