Description
The Adafruit Chainable DS18B20 Extender Breakout module is a convenient solution for connecting and managing multiple DS18B20 temperature sensors in digital systems. It allows for quick and tidy connection of sensors using 3-pin JST connectors or built-in screw terminals, so you can connect both TO-92 sensors and wired versions.
The module is equipped with a 4.7 kΩ pull-up resistor on the 1-Wire signal line, which can be disabled by cutting the track on the board. Additionally, it has an LED indicating data transmission, which makes it easier to diagnose and monitor the bus operation. Thanks to its chain structure, this solution is great for temperature monitoring systems at multiple points, both in home automation and in industrial applications.
