The alloy composition provides good wettability and conductivity, which translates into durability and quality of solder joints.
Solder alloy Sn60Pb40 used in the electronics industry, electrical engineering, as well as in service and assembly work. Intended for soldering standard electronic components and elements with tin, tin-lead, cadmium, zinc, and silver coatings. Contains 60% tin and 40% lead, which ensures good electrical conductivity and a stable soldering process. With a diameter of 1.0 mm, it is suitable for manual assembly of through-hole components (THT). The alloy is characterized by a melting temperature range of 183–215°C, and the optimal working temperature is between 330–380°C.
