Gravity module with a colored RGB WS2812 LED. Thanks to the controller built into the diode, you can connect the modules in series and control all with one microcontroller port. DFRobot DFR0605
Gravity module with RGB LED can be controlled from various platforms such as Arduino , micro: bit , Raspberry pi , LattePanda, etc. The board contains multi-color digital diode WS2812, which can be controlled by one digital port, which is compared to ordinary RGB diodes. which must be controlled by three PWM ports is a big advantage, moreover, WS2812 diodes can be connected in series, so you can control over 100 diodes with one microcontroller port.
The modules can be supplied with voltage from 3.3 V to 5.5 V, diodes take up to 48 mA, while in idle mode they download 0.7 mA. Tiles can be combined with each other using Gravity 3P connectors, this type of cable is included in the set so you can connect multiple modules without the need to trim and solder the wires. The LEDs change color smoothly, allowing you to create various effects such as flashing, breathing or rainbow. Arranging modules in the right way allows even displaying text or animation.
