Dual low-noise operational amplifier with a 12 MHz unity-gain bandwidth and a 5 V/µs slew rate. The Texas Instruments NE5532P comes in an 8-pin through-hole PDIP package. It is designed for applications including audio signal paths, preamplifiers, mixers, active filters, and analog signal conditioning circuits. Texas Instruments NE5532P
The Texas Instruments NE5532P operational amplifier integrates two low-noise operational amplifiers in a single PDIP-8 package. The device combines a typical input voltage noise of 5 nV/√Hz at 1 kHz, a unity-gain bandwidth of 12 MHz, a common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of 100 dB, and a slew rate of 5 V/µs. Internal compensation enables unity-gain operation, while input protection and output short-circuit protection improve device robustness during operation. The NE5532P can operate from a dual supply ranging from ±5 V to ±15 V and is suitable for analog audio signal paths, preamplifiers, mixers, active filters, and signal processing and conditioning circuits. The manufacturer's documentation specifies an operating temperature range of 0°C to 70°C for the NE5532 version.
