The RP2040-GEEK development board is a development board equipped with many useful features and interfaces that make it easier to experiment and develop projects in the field of embedded systems. The main component of the board is the RP2040 microcontroller designed by Raspberry Pi. The system offers high performance and many programming possibilities. The board has an SWD (Serial Wire Debug) port with a 3-pin interface that allows connection to the target debugging board. This enables programming and testing of external microcontrollers via the standard CMSIS-DAP interface, which is compatible with most ARM-based microcontrollers. Additionally, the board is compatible with software such as OpenOCD and other tools that support the CMSIS-DAP interface.
RP2040-GEEK has a USB port, which enables communication with a computer and programming the microcontroller, e.g. via the UART interface. There is a connector on the board with an I2C interface that allows you to test the target board. The module is equipped with a 1.14-inch color LCD screen with a resolution of 240x135 pixels. This allows you to conveniently display information and program results. The board is supplied with a plastic housing and a set of cables, which makes it easy to secure it and connect it to other devices. The software is open-source, which means users can customize and update the firmware according to their needs.
The RP2040-GEEK board is a versatile platform that is ideal for prototyping, programming and testing projects using the RP2040 microcontroller. Its various interfaces and equipment make it a useful tool for enthusiasts of modern technologies and programmers. Full documentation and numerous examples of use are available on the product page.
