Prusament PETG Magnetite 40% Grey 1kg NFC is designed for 3D printing parts requiring increased density and paramagnetic properties. The filament contains 40% magnetite powder, making it suitable for manufacturing electronic components such as switches, potentiometers, induction loops and electromagnetic shielding elements.

The material is based on PETG, but the addition of magnetite increases the weight of printed parts and gives them a distinctive matte surface finish. The filament can also be used in hobby projects, magnetically attachable tools, decorative objects, toys or as a weight element.
The filament is manufactured by Prusa Research in a controlled production process including continuous diameter monitoring and quality control. Due to the abrasive nature of magnetite powder, the use of a hardened nozzle is recommended. The spool is equipped with an NFC tag compliant with the OpenPrintTag standard, enabling automatic filament recognition in compatible Prusa 3D printers.
