Prusament PLA Marble Grey is intended for 3D printing parts requiring high surface quality, precise detail reproduction, and a stable printing process. The filament is manufactured by Prusa Research in a controlled production process including continuous diameter monitoring, color consistency control, and mechanical property testing. Each spool includes an individual QR code allowing access to the actual production parameters of the specific batch.

PLA material features low shrinkage and good dimensional stability, reducing the risk of warping and facilitating printing even on open-frame 3D printers. The Marble Grey color with fine particles creates a surface effect resembling marble or stone, enabling decorative finishes for printed models. The filament works well for visual models, decorative elements, prototypes, and prints with moderate mechanical requirements. Compared to PETG, PLA provides better reproduction of fine details and smoother surface quality, with lower resistance to elevated temperatures.
The spool is equipped with an NFC tag enabling automatic filament recognition in compatible Prusa 3D printers, simplifying material configuration and print process management.
