Description
Prusament PLA Prusa Galaxy Black 900g Refill is designed for 3D printing models requiring high surface quality and a stable printing process. The refill version allows the filament to be reassembled onto the original reusable Prusament spool after the previous material has been consumed, reducing plastic waste and supporting a more sustainable workflow.
The filament is manufactured by Prusa Research under a controlled production process that includes continuous diameter monitoring, color consistency control and mechanical property verification. The guaranteed diameter tolerance is ±0.02 mm, ensuring consistent extrusion and reliable print results. The NFC Compatible version works with the automatic material recognition system once installed on an original Prusament spool equipped with an NFC tag.
PLA material features low shrinkage and good dimensional stability, which helps minimize warping during printing. The Prusa Galaxy Black color contains fine particles that create a subtle sparkling surface effect. The filament is suitable for visual models, prototypes, decorative parts and components with moderate mechanical requirements.
