Description
Sthor brand strip extension cord with:

Solid three-core cable with increased cross-sections in a polyvinyl sheath makes the extension cord can be used both at home and in the office.
Will easily power and protect a range of surge-sensitive receivers such as desktop computers, monitors, televisions, and will also transport enough current for power-hungry appliances such as large household appliances.
The housing is made of aluminum subjected to an anodization process that strips the aluminum of its ability to conduct electricity, but for double safety the housing is also grounded.

The designation H05VV-F denotes a tire cable made according to the harmonized standard (H), for a rated voltage of 300/500V (05)., with polyvinyl chloride insulation (V), with polyvinyl chloride sheath (V) and flexible multi-stranded conductors (-F).
Overload protection
A prolonged current draw above the extension cord's maximum load could cause the cord to overheat, resulting in a fire. An automatic fuse will disconnect the power supply to the strip when a short circuit or too much prolonged current is drawn by the devices connected to it.

Surge protection
Power surges, otherwise known as voltage spikes, are one of the main reasons for failure of devices equipped with electronics.
