LT4276AHUFDPBF enables implementation of PoE+ powered devices with full IEEE 802.3at detection and classification support. Integration of the hot-swap MOSFET reduces the number of external components and simplifies the design of networking, industrial automation and IoT systems.
LT4276AHUFDPBF is a Powered Device controller designed for equipment powered via Power over Ethernet in accordance with IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at (PoE+). The device implements signature detection, power classification and inrush current control with an integrated hot-swap MOSFET, simplifying the design of network devices powered directly from the Ethernet line.
The A version supports the PoE+ standard allowing up to 25.5 W of power at the Powered Device. The controller provides inrush current limiting, overload protection and input voltage control. LT4276 operates with an external DC/DC converter responsible for generating the required operating voltages of the end equipment. The QFN-38 package enables surface-mount assembly in compact industrial and telecommunications designs.
