A simple layout of the miniature 'generator' of the clock signal. Irreplaceable especially in prototype systems. 'The heart' is the specialized integrated circuit LTC1799. On its input there is a multi-turn potentiometer enabling smooth change of the frequency of the output signal. In addition, the output has a configurable signal divider.

The device is especially recommended in prototype systems
