Description
PCTG filament in gray color with a diameter of 1.75 mm. Without spool, 0.75 kg of filament. The recommended printing temperature should be in the range of 250°C to 270°C, and the bed temperature from 90°C to 110°C. The filament has no spool and is vacuum-packed.
Fiberlogy is a Polish manufacturer of filaments intended for FFF/FDM 3D printers. The company has many years of experience in plastics processing. Fiberlogy filaments are characterized by high manufacturing quality, innovation, great diversity, and are made from proven raw materials featuring the best parameters.
PCTG belongs to the same polyester family as the increasingly popular PET-G. Compared to its more well-known counterpart, PCTG offers increased impact strength, temperature resistance, and clarity, making it an excellent alternative to PET-G. This filament does not require a heated chamber, allowing it to be used in home printers. At the same time, it provides high dimensional stability, and its low shrinkage prevents model cracking. This makes it an easy-to-print material even for users with limited 3D printing experience.
PCTG exhibits much higher impact strength compared to similar materials (e.g., PET-G). It reaches approximately 90 kJ/m² (PET-G: 5–8 kJ/m²) in the Izod test (notched sample). PCTG also withstands higher temperatures (up to 76°C).
